Annette Mellor, Independent Living Co-ordinator at Progress Housing Group, decided to ‘Brave the Shave’ for Macmillan. This was the ultimate challenge for Annette as she regarded her hair as her crowning glory. Annette had her head shaved at Ancenis Court in Kirkham, one of Progress Housing Group’s independent living schemes. Beyond all of Annette’s expectations, she raised an amazing £2,000 for Macmillan so they can continue to provide physical, financial and emotional support to those affected by cancer.
